Making fresh juice in a juicer is a great way to get a liquid meal or snack. This is my favorite juice. I use oregano and shiso from my garden. They are not necessary, especially the shiso, which may be more difficult to find. Shiso and oregano are digestive bitters. I recommend growing your own. Both are easy to grow. Occasionally, I add an apple to this juice, which makes it slightly sweeter. This amount of juice serves me two times.
INGREDIENTS:
5 sprigs oregano
10 shiso leaves
2 small cucumbers
4 stalks celery
3 pounds carrots
Pinky tip size ginger, or larger depending on preference
METHOD:
Run these through your juicer and enjoy. This amount of juice is two servings for me. I drink half and save the rest. It’s good up to 3 days.
